Senior Accountant – Petaluma – $89k to $104k DOE

Expanding healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will provide turn-key support to a busy accounting department.

• Schedule: Full-time, flexible schedule
• Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week on site in Petaluma
• Background: Hire contingent on a clear criminal background check

Senior Accountant duties include:

• Prepare consolidated balance sheets, income and cash flow statements
• Perform regular GL updates; review and analyze account balances
• Conduct financial analysis for discrepancies; prepare managerial reports
• Support month-end close processes
• Provide back up to AP/AR, payroll as needed

Ideal Senior Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
• 5+ years recent accounting experience
• 3+ years’ experience working in a healthcare organization
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency; accounting applications (e.g. MS Dynamics; NetSuite or similar)
• Accounts payable experience highly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
