Retail Sales – Primary function is to understand all products sold, competitive differentiators, and how they best solve customer needs. Responsibilities include listening to customer needs, educating customers on products & services, and producing sales while providing a high level of customer service

Responsibilities:

• Listen to customers and understand their needs
• Sell equipment, implements, parts & service
• Continually research products sold along with market related products
• Load/Unload and manage delivery of sold machinery
• Demo new tractors, implements and machinery for customers
• Participate in job fairs, events and community involvement
• Help to clean, stage and prep equipment for selling
• Notify Store Manager of any resources or tools needed to help perform at highest level

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of machinery, functionality, application, pricing, competitive differentiators, and how it solves customer challenges
• 5+ years experience in tractor, lawn & garden, or comparable sales position
• Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally with team and customers
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and MS Programs
• Ability to learn new business management system to create estimates, process orders, track orders, and follow up with customers.
• Ability to demonstrate all machines, implements, and tools that business represents
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 100 lbs. regularly
• Forklift driving experience a BIG plus

Benefits & Salary:

This position is salary + commission based with opportunities for bonuses and incentives within the organization.
