Tailwind, a national airport concessionaire, operates airport concessions at 35 airports across the country. This location is looking for a strong, skilled Gift Shop Associate who is excited to join our team at the Charlottesville, VA airport.

Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:

• Inspect Gift Shop and packaged food area to maintain store appearance, organization, etc.
• Organizing initial deliveries, unpacking of boxes and putting away merchandise, organizing items, scan, price and barcode new item’s along with Gift Shop staff. Report missing delivery items ASAP to General Manager and MC Retail Team.
• Manage retail inventory – count and maintain retail inventory to ensure proper stock of items are accounted for and if possible ordering is needed.
• Ensure shelves and pegs are fully stocked at all times.
• Report feedback from customers including but not limited to requested items and customer issues.
• Prepare magazine and book returns weekly. Follow-up to ensure that newspaper returns are being done daily. Box and ship magazine/book returns weekly and customer orders as needed.

You will need to be able to lift at least 25 lbs. Must be 21 years of age or older, must have reliable transportation, open availability and must be able to pass a back-ground check to receive an airport badge.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
