Salt is a café on the Oregon Coast in Lincoln City, OR. We are looking for employees to join our team that have a love for good food, that are detail oriented, willing to work hard and that want to make a positive impact to their work environment. Our small, close knit staff is creative, driven, skilled and dedicated. Self motivation is the key to success at Salt.

Salt serves breakfast and lunch, Stumptown coffee, craft cocktails, local beer, wine, Tillamook ice cream milkshakes, real fruit smoothies, Steven Smith Tea and more. We have a large array of handmade retail items including local artist's work, artisan snacks and home-goods. Our café is fast paced. These positions have room for creativity and advancement, if interested.

Shifts generally include taking orders from a line of customers, making espresso drinks to order, mixing cocktails and sanitizing tables & facing retail. Stumptown barista training is extensive. We expect each employee to know our menus thoroughly and to have impeccable customer service. A detailed understanding of all products Salt sells is also required.

Our starting wage is $14/hr with average tips $8/hr, total average $22/hr. Raises based on skill. Benefits include daily shift meals, store discount, gym membership and 401k matching after 60 months of employment.

We are currently open 9am to 5pm. We are flexible with scheduling but weekend availability is preferred. 21+ is also preferred to craft cocktails.
