TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Temporary May to August, up to 40 Hours Weekly, Days
STARTING HOURLY RANGE: $13.50 -$16.00 Hourly Depending on Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs responsible technical duties within the City of Concord, Engineering Services Division, under the general supervision of the City Engineer.Duties are varied and include, but not limited to, the following:
- Water service line material investigation to fulfill EPA requirements
- Construction inspection of utility projects in City right-of-way
- Update GIS databases
- Construction material inventory
- Drafting engineering design plans or records in AutoCAD
- Field data collection using a Trimble GPS unit
- Enrolled in a college level Civil Engineering, Planning, Geography or related field.
- Must have successfully completed one term of post secondary education.
- Knowledge of planning/survey/engineering/GIS principles and methods.
