What is the DaaS - Testing As A Service (TaaS) Team?

We are constantly fostering the innovation and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies while building high-performance and scalable solutions. The Delivery-as-a-Service (DaaS) Testing (TaaS) team is primarily responsible for the Testing (validation & verification) of the application through functional test, automation test & performance test the build and release of digital transformation solutions at Tyson utilizing cloud-based solutions. This team collaborates with many different IT and business areas across the globe such as: Development, Business units, Project management, Mobile, Integration, Analytics, support teams. Tyson Foods Testing as a Service team is seeking a Lead Applications (QA) to join our team @ NWA. This opportunity requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Key focus areas will be the delivery, standardization, and governance of key technical areas. Looking for someone with a technologist mindset with high initiative and integrity who excels in excellent customer service.

Do you have the leadership qualifications?

• Effectively collaborating and communicating with team, manager & stakeholders to ensure successful completion of project
• Participating in requirement grooming sessions and designing and executing test cases
• Effectively using defect and test management tools
• Reporting status, identifying risks and working with leadership on their mitigation
• and enhanced client satisfaction

Do you have the technical qualifications?

Required Skills:

• Education: BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Management, or other related discipline. Equivalent experience may be acceptable
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in Information Systems/technology

• Quality engineering/testing concepts and processes
  
  • Ability to work with manager & stakeholders to deliver testing projects independently with minimal guidance
• Ability to self-learn & report the risks/challenges on time
• Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Exposure to one of the SDLC lifecycle
• Willingness to learn new technologies/tools as per the project needs

Preferred Skills:

• Experience on back box testing, testing methodology and one of the automation/performance/data testings
• Experience on the test management tool - ALM
• Experience on one of the automation tools (TOSCA or open source) or data testing tools (Query Surge, TOSCA DI) oriented Test automation in Data Migrations and ETL Testing)
• Proven data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong self-driven collaborator with ability to work in diverse teams as a contributing member
