AEC is seeking a quality control inspector to support Receiving Inspection, In-process Fabrication Inspection, Final Inspection & Testing, Work Process Control, Visual and NDE Inspections, and other related QA/QC duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform receipt inspections of material– this will require use of precision measurement equipment including micrometers and quality inspection aids
• Perform inspections of painted products using electronic measuring tools
• Support functional testing
• Perform final inspection of completed products

KNOWLEDGE AND CRITICAL SKILLS

• Mechanical Experience preferred.
• Level II Inspector Certifications (Mechanical, Receiving inspection, VT, LP, MP)
• Capability to read and review drawings or prints
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software
• Self-disciplined, ability to work as a team player and to preform accurate, detailed work.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Pass an eye test
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend over, walk, reach above head, climb ladders

DESIRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of welding processes desirable
• Experience with mechanical calibration
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including overhead cranes and forklifts
• Experience working in OSHA compliant work environment
• Ability to use Precision Instruments

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Minimum of high school diploma
• Technical/vocational training desired
