Job Details:
Federated’s Business Process Management (BPM) team is seeking an integration and web services developer. In this role, you will design, develop and maintain various software systems and services. We are seeking innovative, motivated, and skilled software developer with a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience developing and supporting business applications. This is an in-person position, working in a collaborative team environment in our Southern Minnesota headquarters.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses a passion for using technology to solve business challenges, the highest level of integrity, and a strong initiative and drive. Experience with the following technology stack is preferred; however, training will be provided for those that meet our minimum qualifications.
  • IBM Business Automation Workflow or other automated workflow tools
  • System integrations using APIs and/or web services such as TIBCO BusinessWorks
  • Relational Databases – SQLServer, Oracle
  • Registry and Repository and Data Governance tools such as IBM WSSR (WebSphere Service Registry and Repository) and IBM DataPower
Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate requirements into efficient and maintainable code.
  • Create and/ or modify programs to adapt to changes in needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with and inform various stakeholders of progress and issues related to assigned work.
  • Provide support for existing systems and services.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree with a preferred major in a computer-related field, mathematics, or business; or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build successful working relationships in a team environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and an in-person work environment.
