Delivery Driver

R&K Foods is a regional grocery store distribution company focused on local vegetarian and vegan foods. We are looking for an energetic and outgoing person to join our Delivery team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, has strong attention to detail, and works well in independent situations. They must possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and build relationships with business partners.

Overview

R&K Foods Inc Delivery Drivers provide excellent, professional customer service while delivering and merchandising R&K products in Grocery stores. Drivers deliver our products, place orders, stock, and rotate grocery, dairy, deli, bulk items and serve as the go-to person for special orders and grocery questions.

Primary Job Responsibilities

· Drive safely at all times

· Provide excellent, professional customer service

· Consistent communication with our customers and our warehouse

· Operate according to R&K and our customer’s standards

· Stock, face, and date check all R&K items on your assigned route

· Inventory R&K items in a handheld device

· Manage and work backstock

· Write credits for any product returns

· Maintains cleanliness and order throughout R&K sets

Requirements

· 21 years or older

· Comfortable driving an 18-foot box truck, no CDL required

· An excellent driving record

· Organized and punctual

· Available to work Monday through Friday, shifts start at 4 AM

· Must be dependable, have excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

· Must have excellent and consistent communication skills

· Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-50 lbs repetitively

R&K Foods Total Compensation Package Includes

• Competitive starting wage at $20-24 an hour depending on experience
• 90-day performance-based raise
• Annual review with the possibility of increase based on performance
