Construction Accountant in Indianapolis, IN

Property Development Firm, looking to fill a full time, Construction Accountant role, where you will serve as the liaison between Accounting and Construction. Salary range for this position is $62k - $80k.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required.

• Prepare and submit monthly construction and development draws to funding source(s)
• Prepare monthly financial statements for general contractor and projects
• Analyze project costs, and identify and communicate problems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Accounting experience in Construction industry
• 2+ years of Public Accounting experience a plus

Experience

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Yardi
• ProCore experience a plus
• Effective time management skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think analytically and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of GAAP percentage-complete accounting, WIP schedules a plus

A valid driver’s license, background with BMV check and drug screen will be required upon acceptance of an offer to the candidate.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
