This position will oversee accounting and reporting, general ledger reconciliation, and accounting policy development; computes and prepares data for journal entries, general ledger, and related financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Excellent verbal & written communication skills

· Good organizational skills

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent

· Fundamental accounting knowledge (debits, credits, general ledger, etc.)

· Bank Reconciliations

· Accounts Payable

· Accounts Receivable

· Some cost/managerial accounting knowledge: Bill of material costing & analysis, work order process, & knowledge of average and standard costing.

· Experience using ERP systems (preferably in a manufacturing setting)

· Strong Excel skills (and experience)

· Knowledge of inventory processes, intercompany transactions, financial statement preparation and consolidation is a plus

· 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
