Four Wheel Campers is seeking a qualified Software Developer to continue its custom software development. The current state of the project has implemented My SQL tables, HTML interface, general aesthetics, and java script functions for core functionality. FWC is seeking someone to maintain the current system as well as adding new functionality based on the current datasets. This will involve coordinating with other departments within the organization. This position, under the Engineering umbrella, will meet with other departments and discuss how best to structure custom applications to assist in company progress.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of object-oriented programming, related design patterns and architecture

• Demonstrated expertise with JavaScript ES6 and related concepts

• Experience with Node.JS, modern web UI frameworks, responsive design, RESTful APIs, relational database systems (MySQL)

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• A commitment to quality code; experience writing unit and integration tests

• Strong work ethic, expressed through the willingness and ability to acquire new skills, and take on projects outside immediate areas of expertise

• Experience with CSS and HTML for web

Interface development

• Can write queries in MySQL and adhere to sound database security principles

• 2-5 years previous relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation and analysis of features spanning a full web-based distributed cloud application stack

• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests

• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues to resolve defects and reduce technical debt

• Participate in development and documentation of an ERP/MRP system

• Lead by example; demonstrate a passion for software development daily that motivates and inspires other engineers

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
