Job Description :

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, North America, the Talent Acquisition Specialist or Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruiting for the US. The candidate will be the recruitment expert, and will have to provide innovative solutions to address the scarcity of the workforce and be in charge of the entire recruitment process for the region. The candidate will be able to find candidates quickly and creatively, while making sure to maintain a most positive candidate experience.

The position requires a presence in the office approximately 2-3 days a week and can be done by telecommuting for the rest of the time. The role can be situated in Indianapolis, IN, St Louis, MI or Friona, TX. The position will require occasional travel within the US and potentially Canada (infrequently).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and maintains networks of contacts and relationships with potential talents (passive and active)
  • Develops and implements recruitment strategies and plans
  • Work-in close collaboration with the local human resources team and the different departments in the company;
  • Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with managers in the region
  • Ensures the fulfillment of the mandates requested by respecting the deadlines in a constantly changing environment;
  • Evaluate hiring needs with relevant supervisors and prepare job descriptions;
  • Post jobs on the various hiring sites;
  • Identifies and selects the best talents using the appropriate tools;
  • Carry out the first interviews and the pre-employment stages with the selected candidates
  • Develop recruitment as a specialty within the company by offering innovative and efficient procedures and tools;
  • Actively participates in the restructuring project of the human resources department as a recruitment specialist.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in recruiting, both with passive and active candidates;
  • Education in Human Resources, administration or equivalent;
  • Strong communicator and have the ability to create networks of contacts;
  • Able to manage several mandates at the same time;
  • Experience with the Workday or a similar ATS;
  • Have a strong sense of customer service;
  • Have a sense of urgency, and the ability to balance speed with quality;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office computer suite;
  • Discretion, professionalism, team spirit, autonomy, determination, management of priorities and sense of organization.
