Responsible for all sourcing and analysis required to support customer bidding, inbound logistics, indirect purchases, GSA contracts, cost-saving initiatives, and Supply Chain KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Estimating groups to support sourcing and vendor negotiations as related to project bids and awards
• Prepares vendor requests for bids, documents responses, and identifies an optimal strategy to maximize savings
• Analyzes and approves company freight expenses and material deliveries to reduce costs and optimize cash flow
• Evaluates project schedules and collaborates with inter-company groups to ensure JIT delivery of job-specific materials
• Analyzes and approves all indirect purchase requisitions, enforcing approval hierarchy, and maximizing savings (I.e., equipment, vehicles, warehouse supplies, etc.)
• Develops and maintains vendor relations as related to customer bids and indirect requisitions
• Oversees part number creation and revision requests
• Prepares monthly and quarterly KPIs and other reports for management review
• Makes recommendations to drive continuous process excellence and efficiencies
• Develops and leads Supply Chain cost savings initiatives by proactively analyzing the market and historical purchasing trends
• Maintains adequate documentation of procedures, workflows, vendor agreements, and contact information
• In collaboration with management engages and negotiates with vendors and complies with all documentation requirements for GSA contracting and data management
• Ensures direct reports are complying with Supply Chain defined processes and procedures
• Supports inventory control team by analyzing material consumption trends, inventory turns, aging
• Makes adequate recommendations that optimize inventory levels
• Serves as a backup to respective Supply Chain Colleagues
• Provides additional support to executive management as requested

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or Equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Strategic Sourcing
• Experience working in project-based business or commercial construction
• APICS, ISM, and Six Sigma Certification a plus

• Strong negotiation skills, must have the capability to manage supplier agreements and negotiations
• Substantial time and project management skills
• Must have the ability to interpret technical specifications and elevations
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors and colleagues
• Must be proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Visio, Etc.
• Experienced in MS PowerBi or equivalent
• Must be engaging and proactive, with a strong sense of urgency
