JOB SUMMARY:

The primary emphasis is to partner with all other members of the healthcare team to assure efficient care of inpatients, avoiding delays and denials whenever possible. Social Worker is responsible to also take a lead role to coordinate with community agencies to address abuse, neglect, substance abuse, mental health, or adoption, link to financial resources, etc. While specific work assignment may vary, applicants should have an interest in working in the Emergency Department.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree in social work required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of recent social work experience preferably medical social work experience required.
  • LCSW-C license preferred, however LMSW licensed candidates will also be given consideration.
