We are SDG Swim, LLC, a multi-unit franchisee of Big Blue Swim School that will be opening and operating 20+ locations in the Chicagoland Area, Wisconsin and Minnesota. There is REAL GROWTH POTENTIAL here!!!!

Big Blue Swim School teaches swim lessons from the ages of 3 months to 12 years old. We are a fast-growing, mission-driven company that aims to show kids they can do anything by unlocking their full potential in the water.

Overview of the Role:

The Assistant Manager will report to the General Manager. They will help run the daily operations, oversight of the Swim Associates and adhere to the Big Blue Swim School standards. The right candidate will have an interest in growth opportunities, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

• Coach and instruct teachers in providing safe and effective swim lessons
• Communicate with parents/customers on a regular basis to provide appropriate status updates and a high level of customer service
• Conduct daily monitoring and review of student progress, check box completion, and move ups to ensure appropriate progression
• Ensure teachers are adhering to Big Blue Swim School principles and curriculum
• Enforce all safety procedures and required certifications
• Ensure efficient building operations including cleanliness, water quality, and pump room operations
• Other duties as assigned

Assistant Manager Requirements:

• Previous management or supervisory experience a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions
• Must possess the ability to communicate and respond to student and customer interactions
• Ability to teach lessons as needed
• Ability to work 40-45 hours weekly
• Ability to work evenings Monday - Friday until 9:00 pm and one weekend day 6:30am-5:00pm
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Will train and pay for lifeguard, CPR, CPO certifications
