SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, QUADRANT BIOSCIENCES

JOB SCOPE

The software engineer will work within a cross functional team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead architecture design and technology adoption discussions
• Define, design and develop new applications and features
• Analyze and improve system performance
• Engage with team development practices, including code reviews and documentation
• Adhere to company quality assurance and confidentiality protocols
• Medical Device experience a plus
• Experience with developing products regulated by the FDA a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENTS AND HAZARDS

This position requires sitting for extended amounts of time with a majority of the tasks requiring typing at a computer station.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is mainly a stationary position involving sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. May require lifting up to 20 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science or demonstrated equivalence in
• work experience 5+ years professional experience as a software developer
• Javascript/Node.js and/or Python expertise
• Object Oriented design concepts/patterns
• Web protocols, RESTful API design and implementation
• Experience with the AWS services

Relational databases : MySQL and/or PostgreSQL

• Testing: Unit, Regression, Integration, Load, User
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Knowledge of software security best practices
• Excels with learning new languages and frameworks
• Excellent communicator
• Preferred - Angular
• Preferred - Experience with Graph Databases
• Preferred - Experience with DynamoDB
• Preferred - Linux administration experience
• Preferred - Experience with HIPAA compliant systems/policies
