As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, you will...
- Lead a team of software engineers through the full software development lifecycle to build a new generation of simulation-based tools to help tackle challenging digital modeling and mission engineering problems for the NC3 community.
- Lead a dedicated team of outstanding engineers that craft, develop, and configure digital engineering environments used to test and evaluate our military's communications systems.
- Bring professional software engineering and application architecture concepts and best practices to the workplace.
- Apply technical/professional expertise to facilitate the on-schedule delivery of high-quality work products.
Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another related field.
- Have at least ten years of relevant professional experience.
- Have at least five years of relevant experience leading software engineering teams through full-cycle development.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills.
- Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Are able to obtain an Interim Top Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
- Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...
- Have a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or another related field.
- Have at least ten years of relevant professional experience.
- Have at least five years of experience leading software engineering teams through full-cycle development including software productization, deployment, maintenance and support.
- Have professional experience in data science and statistical analysis.
- Have leadership experience developing in an Agile environment to include automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Possess an active Top Secret clearance.
