The Senior Oracle Application Developer is a top-level technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming. This position acts independently under general direction, provides technical leadership and should be an expert in business or functional area. This team member formulates/defines system scope and objectives and devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. The Senior Oracle Application Developer prepares detailed specifications and is responsible for developing, unit testing, debugging and documentation. Responsibilities will also include guiding/directing and checking the work of other developers. The position will be based out of our Long Beach headquarters and serves as a critical member of our team and report to our Director of IT. Here's what you'll do:

The Senior Oracle Application Developer is Responsible for:

· Design and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designs

· Provide technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans for new systems or enhancements

· Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing and debugging

· Coordinate with team members to work on solutions and perform design/code reviews

· Develop advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related technologies and tools

· Develop file and database structures, interfaces between internal and external systems

· Provide third-tier user support during installation and end user training

· Design forms, reports, data collection, processing and control procedures for assigned systems

· Maintain technical and functional awareness and competence

· Conform with all company policies and procedures

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

· Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12

· Experience with Accounting, WIP, Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Quality, Quoting and iStore modules

· Experience in development of all aspects of reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancement extensions

· Experience in design and development of complex Oracle Forms and Reports

· Experience developing applications and reports in Oracle Apex/HTMLDB

· Experience with Oracle JDeveloper, JavaScript

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, software library and editing products

· Knowledge of encryption and security protocols

· IDEs such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, PL-SQL Developer and JDeveloper

· Strong SQL, PL/SQL skills

· Ability to interpret and write technical publications/diagrams, and project specifications

· Good organizational and follow-up skills and ability to meet time sensitive deadlines

· Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Ability to make sound decision and exercise good judgment

· Promote a cooperative and productive team environment

· Strong focus on providing quality service to internal and external clients

Experience and Education Needed for the Role:

· 7-10 years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, testing, documenting and production support of Oracle e-Business applications required

· 5-7 years XML, JSON, XSLT and Web Services required

· Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
