Responsibilities:

• Open and close facility
• Respond to emergency calls when warehouse is closed (pager provided)
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Monitor loss prevention
• Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Skills Required

• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

Other

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be a US citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment verifications

Schedule

• Day shift 8 to 5
• Second shift 4 to 12:30am
• Overnight and weekend shifts 12 hours (days off)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.50 - $19.25 per hour
