Clinical Laboratory Sales and Marketing Representative Overview:

The Clinical Laboratory Sales and Marketing Representative’s primary objective is to acquire new accounts resulting in profitable growth. Reaching out to physicians nursing homes, assisted living facilities, clinics along with other related fields. Focusing on introducing laboratory services and products. This position maintains a strong presence in the marketplace promoting Rapid DX Labs in the local and surrounding areas and other states.

Duties:

· Identifying clinics and facilities that could benefit from laboratory services and expanding the current market share.

· Developing business relationships with key clinics and target customers.

· Delivering product presentations to customers in need, outlining laboratory benefits and services.

· Achieving quarterly sales goals and maintaining expectations of the field and limited administrative duties.

· Manages the initial phases of the customer sales process for US accounts, sourcing and developing new customers and contact existing customers via phone and email.

· Respect and maintain the confidentiality of laboratory and financial information

· Practice and adhere to all company policies and regulations

· Follow Compliance procedures and participates in Compliance training

· Meets sales targets and be responsible for accurate forecasting, maintaining lead customer details, and up to date opportunity information gathered in clinical laboratory diagnostic space.

· Jointly develop account strategies with Sales Representatives aimed at increasing business and retaining current business.

· Conduct technical seminars and presentations at customer sites, trade shows and workshops to drive thought leader adoption of technology.

· Follow EKRA (Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act) law dealing with customers/accounts.

· Excellent customer support skills.

· Ability to sell technically complex products

· Expertise with demand creation in a large geography

· Experience with customer base within territory is a plus

· Strengths in networking and relationship development

· Strong oral and written communications skills

· Some formal sales training experience

· Strong time and territory management skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Laboratory/Med Sales experience preferred.

Current Clinical relationships in the market are required.

A Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related discipline. Postgraduate qualification preferred.

2 – 4 years of sales experience in clinical laboratory sector, infectious disease molecular, next generation sequencing and/or Oncology – Inside Sales experience advantageous

Knowledge of genomics and the healthcare sector is an advantage

Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills

Collaboration. Adept at leveraging internal and external organizational resources

Critical Thinking. Able to identify and challenge the assumptions underlying actions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
