Position Purpose:

Sr Marketing Associate, RFP Content is responsible for supporting the RFP Process lead and Marketing Manager with the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP and RFI responses, or other documentation describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospects or customers. This team member will be responsible for ensuring high quality responses by proofreading and copy editing RFP and RFI responses and providing support with writing proposals. This team member will also support the RFP Process Lead with day-to-day program management activities.

The Sr Marketing Associate, RFP Content is responsible for maintaining an accurate content database of standard/common responses to RFPs. This team member will ensure that standard responses and distribution channels are up to date.

Education:

Experience :

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in in marketing, journalism, or communications discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years' experience in a content development or management role, preferably in a B2B services environment within a complex and highly-regulated industry.
• Experience in writing and editing proposals and RFP and RFI responses in alignment with business objectives and key messages.

License and Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Can proofread materials for accuracy, correct use of grammar, punctuation and content. Ensures all documents and materials meet established content standards.
• Experience with the latest content and messaging trends and best practices with a strong attention to quality, detail, and timelines.
• Strong business writing skills.
• Proven track record as a collaborator and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment.
• Strong knowledge of Qvidian, or similar RFP management tools.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Developed interpersonal skills to relate and communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to take ownership of a RFP/RFI from release to submission.
