**Base Pay + Commission Opportunity**

The Role

With a focus on our Core Values of Integrity, Internally Driven, Fun and Respect, the Business Development Manager achieves sales budget in a defined sales territory by focusing on strategies for account retention and penetration. Strives for continuous growth in the market through partnerships with clients and providers within the industry using short- and long-term business planning skills focused on workforce strategies and solutions


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values, and vision of the company.
  • Exceeds the goals set forth in the BDM matrix
  • Generate sales opportunities
  • Meets with the recruiting team weekly to review recruiting efforts and identify areas of improvement, including number of submittals and calls.
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Generate sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Director to effectively achieve business goals
  • Understand client needs by researching and gathering information needed to determine skill level of caregivers
  • Understand usage and trends of client
  • Responsible for negotiating contracts and terms with client including credit terms and position specifics
  • Generates new business by ways of cold calling, email marketing, networking, and Data platforms
  • Establishes contact with key individuals who are decision makers for staffing business, including but not limited to: sub acute facilities, long term care and assisted living facilities, psychiatric facilities, behavioral healthcare facilities, surgery centers, home health agencies, drug and treatment facilities, corporations utilizing health care staffing services, physician offices, schools and organizations facilitating wellness programs
  • Prepares and conducts presentations regarding MSSL to organizations where prospective clients might be reached or influenced • Implements account development strategies to sell to and secure growth in account market share with large complex organizations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business-related subject or equivalent work experience and training
  • Minimum of (3) years successful sales experience with comparable customers, preferably health care staffing or B2B Sales
  • Experience in working with CRM technology
  • Proficient in LinkedIn, Zoom Info, Definitive Heathcare and other media platforms
  • Knowledge with sales for Nurse staffing

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as necessary.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move throughout office environment.
  • Continually observe information/data both on paper and electronically at a close range/distance.
  • Continually operate computer and other electronic office equipment.
