Regional Human Resource Manager
Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric is looking for a top-quality person to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing the HR activities of the organization.

Summary
The Regional Human Resources Manager will work closely with organizational leadership to coordinate personnel related activities. This position will provide oversight and consultation for the organization’s regional locations including employee relations, policies and procedures, employment law, compensation, workers’ compensation, HRIS management, and benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Monitors, implements and ensures compliance with new programs, policies and procedures for federal, state and local laws.
  • Ensures all company HR policies are applied consistently.
  • Attend management and leadership meetings to increase HR visibility.
  • Develops and implements HR initiatives and workforce strategies.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Creates learning, development, and leadership initiatives that provide internal development opportunities.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations. Oversees maintenance of employee records.
  • Where appropriate, participates in the screening and hiring of key positions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of human resource management experience is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skill and the ability to pivot quickly between tasks.
  • Ability to build rapport with employees.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
