BONNEY WATSON is seeking a Recruiter/Training Coordinator to join their team! The Recruiter/Training Coordinator will ensure the company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. This position also creates training plans and opportunities along with Managers for their employees.

This position will work primarily onsite with the potential to move to a hybrid work arrangement once established in the position.

Some of the Key Responsibilities of the Recruiter/Training Coordinator:

  • Administer recruiting system using recruiting software and recruiting programs while adhering to budget with CFO approval.
  • Update and revise job descriptions and job specifications in accordance with company guidelines and objectives while adhering to government regulations for review by the CFO/Admin Services Manager
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, newspapers and colleges etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, company website etc.
  • Build relationships with sources such as Secondary and Mortuary Schools to promote an Intern program
  • Work with managers to have specific recruiting stages for each position and could include doing initial phone screenings using reliable recruiting and selection tools and method to filter candidates within schedule while other positions might only require minimal interaction.
  • Communicate potential candidates to managers and schedule interviews along with manager to assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Generate conditional offer letters compliant with government regulations and initiate background checks.
  • Onboard new employees to become fully integrated including coordinating job specific training schedules for initial training and work with manager and employee for ongoing training
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
  • Coordinate training opportunities for each specific job description, including working with Managers for appropriate CPE credits for licensed staff and general training to enhance employee growth in the workplace using company-sponsored training such as Pryor+.

What the successful Recruiter/Training Coordinator will have:

  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Hands on experience with various interview processes (phone interviewing, virtual, in-person)
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (Caliper, Indeed assessments, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Excellent communication and people skills

Compensation Range

  • $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, DOE
