Process Engineer

Röchling Industrial has as an exciting and challenging Process Engineering career opportunity at our Mt. Pleasant, PA facility. We are looking for a self-starter eager to assist us with the design and implementation of equipment and manufacturing processes, as well as the continuous improvement of existing processes.

• Collaborate in the design, development, and implementation of new assembly and machining processes and procedures, as well as improving current processes.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, assembly, tooling, materials, and soliciting observations from production operators.
• Perform cost savings and new technology development activities.
• Assist in the research and proposals of new equipment or equipment modifications.
• Ensure all new designs are compliant with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning process flow.
• Work closely with production and support personnel to solve critical process issues, as well as develop and optimize processes.
• Utilize engineering knowledge to reduce variations in manufacturing processes and improve operating efficiency.
• Implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop innovative solutions and recommend new manufacturing technology.
• Interact with the sales team and customers to understand performance criteria, review prints, and ensure the best solution to meet the needs of the customer.

• Process Engineering with 0-5 years experience

• Strong aptitude in problem solving using critical and analytical thinking.

• Strong verbal and written communication and technical writing skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment and under direct supervision.

• Possess detail-oriented and organizational skills with the ability to work on clearly defined projects.

• Flexibility to periodically work various shifts to accommodate and support production.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD

• B.S. Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering preferred
