PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Provide comprehensive Physical Therapy assessments, plans of care, and supervises and directs the treatment of PTA’s providing a resource in consultation in the overall physical therapy treatment of residents

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise the services of Physical Therapy.

2. Perform the duties of the Physical Therapy within the guidelines of the APTA.

4. Attends family conferences, discharge planning, and treatment and care plan conferences when appropriate.

7. Audits and assures compliance to OBRA and HCFA Standards of Practice.

8. Adheres to and maintains department policies and procedures, as well as health and safety standards.

9. Coordinates and participates special education conferences for residents and families.
