Overview

We are seeking a Per Diem Reading Interventionist to provide virtual services to K-12 students receiving services through the many school districts that we partner with around the country. As a per diem contract role, this person will not be committed to regular shifts, but rather have the freedom and flexibility to pick up and fill-in caseload as it becomes available.

Primary Responsibilities

• Screen students for dyslexia
• Provide virtual reading intervention services to students with dyslexia
• Facilitate small group lessons in accordance with program requirements
• Progress monitor student growth and academic performance
• Collaborates with teachers and administration to develop and support learning plans
• Provide ongoing feedback on Amplio’s virtual therapy platform

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have all relevant licensure and certifications to function as a certified teacher within the state(s) that you will be providing services
• Additional training or experience in explicit reading instruction
• CALT and/or Special Education Teaching Certification preferred
• Multisensory Teaching Approach (MTA) or Esperanza curriculum training preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise patience, caring and concern in new and sometimes stressful situations
