The Role:

Packaging Graphic Design Intern

Summary of position: This intern position will work side by side with Logitech’s internal team of Packaging Graphic Designers. This role will have an opportunity to further develop skills in a real world environment outside of the classroom. They will apply strategic thinking and have the ability to concept, hand sketch, present and speak to their work with strong communication skills, and design acumen.

• Report through Packaging Design and support specifically the graphic and creative side of it.

• Work with team members, and longer lasting projects that need additional support and/or fresh outlook or more ideas.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Proficient knowledge of standard adobe design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator

• Concept and idea-driven

• Self-starter, able to work unsupervised

• Ability to speak about your ideas and able to accept and participate in constructive critiques

• Good working knowledge and experience in Google Cloud : Slide/Sheets/docs

• An online or PDF portfolio to review is a must

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

• Business coursework

• Public speaking coursework

Education:

• 3+ years of higher education complete (degree in progress)

• Graphic Design Major

This position offers an hourly rate typically between $ 32.00 hourly - $ 44.00 hourly commensurate to the level of degree program in which an applicant is actively enrolled.
