Hendricks Hospital is looking for an overnight Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team!

Our CNA's are responsible for providing the highest quality care for our residents. Hendricks Hospital is an independent healthcare facility located in a friendly small town setting.

Our overnight C.N.A.'s work 12 hours shifts. Overnight staff receive a 5% shift differential as well as an additional $2 an hour for all weekend shifts.

Weekend and Holiday Rotations Required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CNA certification required. We are willing to help you get certified if needed.
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility preferred but willing to train.
• Able to provide quality resident care following each individual care plan.
• Good verbal and written communications skills required, along with good interpersonal skills.
• Communicates and relates in a positive manner with residents while interacting with them and responds appropriately to resident behaviors.
• Able to adhere to team concept and work together with co-workers for the benefit of the residents and the facility.
• Knows safety and emergency procedures pertaining to long-term care facility.
• Practice infection control procedures.
• Able to exercise independent judgment and maintain emotional stability under stressful conditions.
• Flexibility to handle changing situations and emergency needs.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Job involves moderate to heavy physical work. Frequent standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting weight in excess of 25 pounds.
