Chagrin Pet, Garden, and Power Equipment is a retail dealer of high quality pet food, wild bird seed, lawn & lawn/garden supplies and Power Equipment. We are a 2nd generation of owners with over 90 years of excellence in the community. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loads, secures, and unloads products on trucks to transport from Chagrin Pet, Garden and Power Equipment Facility.
• Drives truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads and conforming to safety standards as prescribed.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service in all aspects of the job.
• Possess physical and mental stamina commensurate with the responsibilities of the position (ability to lift 75 lbs).
• Operate power equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage.
• Educate customer about products being delivered.
• Daily cleaning of trucks to maintain a professional appearance
• Assist the team to accomplish any task or goal needed.

Education/Responsibilities:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and work flexible hours & shifts.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Effectively communicate and educate customers.
• Ability to withstand the physical demands of lifting, pulling, and managing heavy merchandise
• Comfortable in a fast pace dynamic environment.
• Understands the importance of detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and is always willing to assist others when needed.
• No Smoking in company vehicles
• Tow Motor Certified or experience
• Tractor loading experience

The integrity of every Route Driver is essential to maintaining goodwill and building new bonds of trust with our clients. The driver is a member of the operations team and plays an integral role as the face of Chagrin Pet, Garden and Power Equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
