As the Water Treatment ME you will become an integral part of the engineering team by developing solutions and bids for drinking water treatment, water conveyance and processing. Steelhead serves the bottled industry with custom water treatment systems designed and built in house including Reverse Osmosis, UV, Carbon tanks and beds, Media filtration as well as Mineral injection and steri-ozone systems..

Day to day activities include developing water treatment solutions for bottle water, creating P&ID’s, running projects for RO membranes, calculating pump curves, performing the “take-off” to determine product requirements, interpret plans and specs to determine bill of materials, works with manufacturers’ representatives or directly with engineer for recommendations.

You would develop desired bid pricing after analysis of plans and specs, availability, costs, and acceptability. Additional responsibilities include formulating an accurate proposal of the company’s offering, You would review new purchase orders/contracts and provides details for order entry and be responsible for working with project management to fulfill contractual requirements including timely drawing submittal requirements and technical support.

• SS Sanitary and PVC Piping design and pump sizing
• Reverse RO and Water Treatment Design Experience
• Water Treatment Water Analysis and Projection experience
• SS sheet metal and structural steel design experience

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering, technology, business, or sales-related discipline.
• Proficient in Solidworks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Must have good technical aptitude .
• Interpreting and understanding P&ID drawings
• Modifying P&ID drawings in 2D CAD (3D CAD experience a plus)
• Must have good time management.
• Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and accuracy is a must have; ability to analyze information, good problem solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
