The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing & Communications Supervisor in executing Chapa-De’s marketing and communication strategic initiatives. This position manages Chapa-De’s online presence and drafts marketing content, videos, graphics and promotional material. This position will also coordinate and organize community outreach and events.

MARKETING COORDINATOR DUTIES:

  • Assist in the marketing and brand promotion of Chapa-De and its care programs.
  • Maintain, update and develop content for Chapa-De’s website, SharePoint, and social media accounts.
  • Maintain and update all Chapa-De print materials.
  • Manage Chapa-De’s social media presence and implement social media strategy, including creation of monthly content calendar, drafting content posts, and responding to online engagement.
  • Utilize multimedia tools to create materials such as videos, flyers, and graphics.
  • Draft content and design visuals for presentations, annual reports, blogs, emails, SharePoint posts, social media posts, promotional material and other communications.
  • Respond to website requests and feedback.

Required Experience:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience with a focus in marketing or communications.
  • Strong writing skills and prior experience in drafting a variety of content (ex. blogs, social medial post, newsletters, email, etc.).
  • Prior experience in successfully managing corporate social media accounts and online presence.
  • Proficiency in basic graphic design.
  • Ability to think and problem-solve creatively.
  • Strong project management and time management skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work on multiple, concurrent, complex projects.
  • Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), and Adobe Acrobat, photo and videography editing software.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current and in good standing: CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV printout.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years’ experience in marketing or health care communications.
  • Working knowledge of branding foundations and strategies
  • Prior nonprofit healthcare experience.

** Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID - 19 vaccine before date of hire to be considered for employment. This includes the booster shot, when eligible.
