Our medical clinic in Cook, MN is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join our team. Full-time hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Requirements of the LPN or MA:

  • Knowledge and experience with chronic disease, acute conditions and wellchild visits preferred
  • Team Centered Approach
  • Current MN Nursing License or Medical Assisting Certification/Registration
  • New grads are also encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities of the LPN or MA:

  • Update patient chart information such as past and present medical histories, medications, allergies and immunization records prior to appointments
  • Room and prepare patients prior to their medical provider’s visit and/or treatment
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and testing to patients following appropriate procedures
  • Assist medical provider in patient procedures as directed
  • Initiate prescriptions for provider review and refill

We currently have an 8300 square mile service area with 7 medical clinics and 4 dental clinics that spread over 4 counties. Scenic Rivers Health Services is associated with 2 critical access hospitals, providing quality patient care 24 hours a day.
