As a lender/underwriter, you will play a key role in both the accuracy and timeliness of loans as they are completed for FMUB customers. You will serve as a point of contact for customers and prospective customers with the ability to analyze financial statements, income taxes, credit reports and loan applications to ensure an effective and smooth process for clients.

No experience in lending is necessary as training will be provided. If you have a willingness to learn the art of lending and working with clients to identify and reach their financial goals, we want to talk to you.

What you can expect to do:

- Analyze credit information to determine credit worthiness

- Prepare credit reports

- Underwrite complex credit requests

- Prepare credit proposals for approval

- Perform cash flow analysis, financial analysis and determine trends

- Monitor loans for compliance

- Frequent interaction with lenders

- Other related duties and special projects as assigned

What you’ll need to succeed:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel

- Excellent analytical skills and high level of accuracy

- Follow all bank policies and procedures

- Other related duties and special projects as assigned
