Job Description :

Overview:
Provides general clerical and administrative support for Human Resources Department to ensure the accurate, timely, and confidential processing of HR information and activities. Handles confidential material and information in the Human Resources department including internal and external customers.


Strong emphasis on confidentiality, proactive problem resolution, and departmental communications.

This position requires extreme confidentiality, professional demeanor, adherence to all policies, excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple responsibilities, and flexibility.

Employee must support and demonstrate the Mission, Vision, and Values of NARMC.
Responsibilities:

Assists with routine office assignments, data entry, answers phone, directs employee and non-employee visitors as needed, and processes routine requests.


Assists with job postings and other clerical and administrative tasks as needed.


Assists with special projects and employee activities as needed.


Requires a high degree of responsibility and confidentiality in performance of various skills, typing and clerical functions. Communication with professional staff, hospital personnel and the public.

Qualifications:


REQUIRED

PREFERRED


Education:


High school education or GED required with emphasis in business and office occupations

Associate Degree in Office Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, Wellness, or related area preferred. Equivalent education / experience.


Experience:


Previous office/clerical skills, accurate typing skills and computer knowledge

Must demonstrate a consistently high level of confidentiality.
Previous experience in Human Resources

Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:

H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge / experience
Higher level degree or certification


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Must maintain consistently high level of confidentiality and adhere to all NARMC policies and demonstrate NARMC’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Must have excellent interpersonal skill and demonstrated customer service skills.

Must have excellent computer and office skills, Must have ability to work with minimal direct supervision and maintain organized office environment.

Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Understand how to build Excel spreadsheet and analyze data.
Experience with computerized HRMS and/or ATS
