As a business analyst, you'll work closely with business and IT partners to maintain and provide data, reporting and analytics to support Home Landing operations, initiatives and business transformation projects.

As a business analyst, you'll work closely with business and IT partners to provide data, reporting and analytics to support Home Landing business operations, initiatives and business transformation projects. Primary areas of focus include database, reporting and analytic support, as well as documentation, quality / compliance controls, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

As a business analyst, you'll design and gather critical information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

Additionally, you'll assist in the overall coordination and management of programs, including status, scorecards, and other key management metrics. Through strong partnership with Business, Operations and Technology counterparts, you will work on project deliverables such as data source accuracy, process efficiency, and operation productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with operation partners and provide data, reporting and analytics to support Home Landing operations.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Middle Office, Finance, Technology, and Senior Management to understand and build business requirements, procedures, and processes. This will include specifications, data sources, process mapping and design, user interfaces, compliance/quality control, documentation and maintenance.
  • Conduct data analysis, data collection, and synthesis to translate into actionable solutions that can optimize operation resources.
  • Work with business partners and IT to streamline and to automate existing data/reporting processes and business operations.
  • Update and improve current operations and workflows. Conduct workflow analysis, create detailed project plans, documenting business requirements, detailing issues and problems, and drafting business and technical implementation documents.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of coding experience in SQL and equivalent
  • 1-3 years of working experience in Alteryx or Tableau or MS-Excel/Access
  • 1-3 years of working experience of SAS in Unix platform is a plus.
  • 3-5 years business analysis experience
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze business and operations
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, organize, and prioritize work
  • Excellent team player, good communication and presentations skills
