We're looking for a full-time Graphic Artist with HTML Email Developer experience. The Graphic Artist and HTML Email Developer is responsible for the conception, design, creation and implementation of graphics, layouts, assets, and production files for all graphics needs including promotions, displays, presentations and more. The Graphic Artist and HTML Email Developer will predominantly be designing variable data print pieces and creating HTML email campaigns for our existing client base and future clients. The Graphic Artist and HTML Email Developer will work with our designers, copywriters, and campaign managers to ensure all aspects of our campaigns conform to the team vision. They will have great attention to detail and expert verbal and written communication skills.

Each print campaign that is designed will need a corresponding email campaign created as well. This will require experience in HTML/CSS, producing, proofing, testing, and troubleshooting HTML email campaigns. As a full-time graphic artist, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent email experience in webmail as well as other email applications such as Google Gmail and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all projects meet creative standards and maintain strict consistency with regards to the brand and pre-existing thematic direction.
• Follow creative briefs, project requests, and adhere to deadlines with an attention to detail that assures timely project completion and success.
• Using both digital and traditional methods, ensure that all elements of final artwork are formatted and meet all creative, production and installation specifications so that they may easily and successfully be produced and implemented to a high degree of quality.
• Responsive Email development from scratch and using templates.
• Testing, troubleshooting, analysis, optimization of email campaigns.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer practicing the principles and procedures of design, layout, and print production.
• 2+ years of experience in email development.
• Traditional art skills, illustration, photography, etc. are a strong plus.
• Strong technical and digital design ability with an in-depth knowledge of and high level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in teams while providing and following design vision.
• Strong oral, written and visual communicator with the ability to convey ideas while providing guidance and knowledge about design.
• HTML & CSS expertise (must be able to code emails from scratch) ensuring rendering consistency across desktop and app-based clients.
• Experience in responsive email design.
• An understanding of the rendering and coding differences in programming websites versus programming emails for various device renderings.
• Understanding of email development industry best practices and benchmarks.
• Indesign Experience is a plus.
• Automotive Designs a plus.
