We are looking for an experienced and skilled Floral Designer to work with our team at our boutique flower shop in Carmel. Must be able to provide a portfolio or imagery of previous work, including bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, wedding installations and custom arrangements. The Floral Designer will be responsible for designing and assembling customized floral designs including weddings, events and other special occasions. The right candidate must be comfortable working without floral foam.

Hours are 9-3pm Monday - Friday with later days during holiday seasons and for event preparation. We are closed for major holidays.

Pay is dependent on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities:

• Design floral arrangements for customers - made-to-order, grab-and-go, weddings and events.
• Sell floral products.
• Follow all safety protocols when handling flowers.
• Communicate with clients during the design process.
• Process flowers.
• Answer phones when needed.
• Assist with shop maintenance when needed - sweep, take out garbage and green waste, wash vases.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
