Job Description :

ABOUT THE POSITION: We are looking for a result-driven Retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products, and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints, and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate at Kate Maller Jewelry you will need a great affinity for selling luxury products + a high level of service. You will also need to stay up-to-date with product features, and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.

ABOUT US: In 2019 we opened our flagship brick + mortar in the West Highland neighborhood of Denver, CO. An edgy yet refined boutique featuring the work of local jewelry designer, Kate Maller, showcased alongside a highly curated selection of artisan + fine jewelry, ceramics, fine mineral specimens, accessories, scents, books + cards. In January of 2021 we opened our second location in Aspen.

We’re a small staff with big talent and lofty ideals. Our level of craftsmanship is unusual by today’s jewelry-making standards. We hand-fabricate every piece of Kate Maller Jewelry in our Denver studio. No outsourcing, no pre-made components, with the exception of delicate chains, and no casting or computer-generated designs. Every jump ring, clasp, and pair of ear wires is individually crafted in-house. Efficient? No, but hand craftsmanship imbues each piece with a unique character that makes them distinct, and keeps us feeling good about our work.

In a world where automation reigns supreme, we celebrate and value the time-honored traditions inherent in the art and craft of hand-fabricated metalsmithing. Because no two pieces are exactly alike, you’ll see subtle nuances in replicated pieces from our collections. Most clients appreciate those nuances and, like us, value the craftsmanship.
