Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #4 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team in the Virginia Beach office.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the Chief Financial Officer with multiple administrative support functions and coordination responsibilities. This will require a high degree of confidence, enthusiasm and problem-solving capabilities while remaining flexible, versatile, and proactive.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing and maintaining complex calendars and coordinating appointments, meetings, and conference calls. This position requires a lot of attention to detail as there is a high volume of appointments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Supporting all travel needs of the CFO in coordination with other executives and members of management as requested by the CFO.
  • Assisting with event coordination and management of all Finance team events including scheduling group meetings and sending out invites, reserving location, arranging for catering/food service need, and assembling packets and binding materials.
  • Managing project tasks, assignments, and follow-up.
  • Serving as the first line of response for meeting inquiries, general questions, and all other incoming requests of the Office of the CFO.
  • Assisting with personal errands/tasks.
  • Performing other administrative duties as needed to support the office of the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Collaborating with executive support personnel on behalf of the CFO.

What you’ll bring
  • At least five years of experience providing administrative support to an executive level role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Experience with project management and planner software.
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Professionalism and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels and varying positions of staff.
  • Must be professional and lead with uncompromising integrity.
  • Must be extremely organized, with the ability to anticipate outcomes.
  • Be very detailed and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Be able to work M-F 8:30 - 5:30
