JOB OPENING: Warehouse/ Delivery Driver– Truckee, Ca

We have an immediate opening for experienced Class C Driver, who will also serve in our warehouse.

A locally owned and operated supplier of Plumbing, HVAC, Waterworks, Erosion Control, and Irrigation, we are looking for the right person to help us to continue to grow our business.
A successful delivery driver/warehouse associate candidate must have excellent communication skills and interact with and work well with others in our fast paced and ever-changing industry.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality customer service for walk-in customers and job site delivery customers

• Pulls and packages orders for delivery, as well as verify accuracy of orders.

• Properly stocking of materials

• Warehouse work when not on deliveries

• Loading and Unloading delivery trucks

• Listens to and resolves delivery concerns in the field and escalates issues if beyond their skill set

• Must be able to lift and work with a minimum of 80 pounds on a regular basis

• Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations

Required Skills

• High School education or equivalent is required

• Applicant should be at least 21 years of age

• Must possess a Valid Class C License

• Good organizational interpersonal, communications, and customer relations skills

• Must have computer skills

• Previous delivery experience preferred and knowledge of wholesale products and warehouse environments a plus

• BE WILLING TO LEARN
