Job Description

As an intern in the Data Platforms Engineering team, you will be part of a hands on capability and platform engineering team who collaborate with global Intel teams enabling new capabilities and data platforms. Opportunities to learn and apply leading edge technology including Cloud based technologies (i.e. Azure Data Warehouse, Databricks, ADF), Big Data on-premise technologies (i.e. Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Impala, Hive, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science or related computational discipline in an accredited US university

Minimum 3 months of experience with software, cloud and/or database development.

Minimum 3 months of experience in writing code in python, Shell, SQL logic and/or web development.

Preferred Qualification:

Good understanding of Linux and Windows.
Familiar with Database technology, Cloud technology, Big data, data engineering.
Familiar with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment technology.
Knowledge of with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD capabilities

Knowledge in reporting tools and/or web development is a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $63,000.00-$166,000.00

• Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
