Hartel's Disposal is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR)/Data Entry Clerk to join our family owned and operated business. Job Summary

Our company is looking for a skilled CSR to assist with customer inquiries and requests, as well as daily accounts receivable data entry. This individual would receive and respond to incoming telephone calls and emails from customers to process service inquiries, remedy issues, and schedule services. Also responsible for processing customer payments via manual data entry along with electronic balancing of spreadsheets for daily deposits. The CSR position would serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, while delivering superior service in a prompt, respectful and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Field service inquiries via telephone or email, independently and proficiently.
  • Resolve routine matters including billing questions and payments, collection and equipment issues, service holds, special pickups, residential price quotes and cancellations.
  • Log information about customer service interactions into authorized system (Encore). Update in a timely and accurate manner to allow others to track service inquiries and resolution.
  • Establish services for new residential accounts.
  • Enter service data into computer for billing and routing purposes.
  • Serve as the customer’s advocate by solving problems or transferring to the proper department or personnel.
  • Navigate computers, individual systems, and Microsoft Office platform.
  • Enter customer payment information in an accurate, efficient manner.
  • Investigate and resolve data entry errors.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None required.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years Customer Service or Call Center experience preferred.

  • Use Microsoft Office Programs (word, excel, outlook)

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, sedentary desk position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is provided.

Pay: $18.00 to $22.00/hour – Depending on Qualifications
