CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

Job Description

*Provide clients with outstanding customer service in person, on the phone and via email communication.

*Process new policies, endorsements, cancellations and claims per customer or company requests.

*Handle various accounting transactions including billing and accepting payments.

*Communicate with customers and companies regarding quotes, endorsements, policies, etc. Communicate with coworkers about the status of work verbally, via email and use of agency management system.

*Verify all incoming and outgoing communication for completion and accuracy.

*Maintain knowledge of the policies and procedures of the various companies with whom we write business.

*Various administrative duties such as answering phones, taking messages, filing, scanning, copying, mailing and data entry.

*Be proficient in the use of our agency management system and quoting software.

*Be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as those are used often.

*Comply with MN rules regarding obtaining property/casualty insurance license and keeping it active.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
