This position is in our Englewood Florida office which has 6 licensed agents, 31+ years of thoughtful and fair management, a large clientele and 5 star reviews from over 120 clients. This is full time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Training provided which will entail online, one-on-one and on-the-job training.

Job Description:

· Inputting client and coverage information into our computer system

· Processing policies, submitting required documentation, handling underwriting memo’s and other daily activities

· Handling requests from inbound phone calls, emails and chat from customers, agents and others (we have 100+ customer service people in our central office who do most of our service)

· Documenting activities and follow-ups accurately

· Working with clients to gather needed documents and information

· Verifying accurate policy issuance

· Assisting and supporting the Sales Producers in our office

· Becoming educated on our products and carrier systems we use

· Performing other related duties as assigned

It requires:

· 2+ years Personal Lines experience in Insurance Agency Customer Service

· Licensing - a 440, 220 or 2044 state insurance license is required

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Reliability, punctuality and good attendance is critical

· Strong customer service mindset; the ability to deliver service that provides a high level of satisfaction

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively

· Strong communicator; must be able to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and website navigation

· Ability to type 40+ words per minute

· Independent judgment, decision making, and ability to take initiative

· Ability to gather and analyze facts and data, draw some inferences, weigh alternatives and present logical solutions

· Ability to learn, embrace and put into practice new concepts and skills

· Ability to scan, copy and fax

· A great attitude, teamwork, and self-motivation

· Professional phone etiquette and communications with our clients and insurance companies

· Organization, efficient work habits and the use of our cutting edge technology systems

· Ability to retain and apply information received from training, reading and email updates

Compensation and Benefits:

· Starting salary based upon experience and knowledge - $38,000 - $50,000
