Applegate Place, a 30-unit assisted living residence in Sutherlin, Oregon needs a cook to provide homestyle, nutritious, and delicious meals to our residents and staff. Must be able to follow recipes and have enough cooking experience to be able to substitute ingredients as needed.

Working with the Dietary Director, you will be able to reliably work 10-hour shifts 3.5 days per week and provide the necessary skills to cook 3 homestyle meals per day from scratch and served on time for our lovely residents, in accordance with the planned menus, diet plans, portion controls and residents' preferences and needs.

You must have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting and have knowledge of safe food handling and commercial kitchen appliances. All employees must pass a criminal background check.
