Clinic Receptionist
Indianhead Medical Center (IMC) is a 25-bed critical access hospital and clinic that has been providing quality care to the surrounding communities for over 70 years. Services include inpatient, outpatient, clinical, surgical, rehabilitation with extensive inpatient and outpatient therapies, and emergency care. We are currently seeking a Clinic Receptionist to join the IMC family at both the Shell Lake and Siren Clinics.
As a Clinic Receptionist with IMC, you would enjoy working at both the Shell Lake and Siren Clinics. You would enjoy the variety of communication directly with our patients, clinic staff and providers. You would enjoy a consistent part-time schedule (3 day week) consisting of 2 weekdays at Siren and Fridays in Shell Lake during the open clinic hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
A Clinic Receptionist would be responsible for:
· Communicating with patients via phone and in person to schedule appointments
· Check in patients which includes verifying personal data and insurance information
· Answer phones, fax, e-mails and processing some special requests or messages to providers or other hospital departments
A Clinic Receptionist at IMC must:
· Have a high school diploma
· Have strong computer, phone and e-mail skills
· Have experience in a clinical or medical receptionist position (preferred)
· Provide professional and compassionate patient communication
