Qualifications include:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or
• Current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin/current certification as a MA preferred or
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or
• Graduate of an accredited EMT program or
• Current CNA licensure in the State of Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed.

Schedule:

Days, one early morning and one later evening. Occassional weekend morning.

Duties include:

• This position is responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting.
• Under the supervision of a physician/provider/Registered Nurse, this position performs documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.
• The clinic assistant assists the Health Care providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic polies and procedures.
• All programs and activities are designed to support the short and long term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.
