The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to adult and geriatric patients. I have reviewed these job requirements and verify that I can perform the minimum requirements and essential functions of this position.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education: At least a high school diploma or equivalency with at least one year of patient care experience in a health care facility or as Certified Nursing Assistant. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant for the state of South Carolina. Will be required to maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). Possess ability to understand and implement a variety of detailed instructions in the execution of therapeutic procedures and ability to make accurate physical observation of patients. Applicant must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant for the state of South Carolina. Will be required to maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). Crisis prevention training may be required based on department requirements.
